Hey there internet, I'm new to this whole blogging thing (and I also have other things to do at the moment) so I'm gonna keep this short. My name is Karlee and I current live in the heart of North America. I love the Winnipeg Jets and the Leafs too and I will do anything for some ice cream any day of the year. I'm currently studying sociology and criminal justice and completing my third year in university this Spring. This has to be the fastest my life has been passing me by and right now I'm just trying to enjoy it. I've been in a relationship for over a year now and I love it. I've got a younger brother who drives me insane most of the time (and makes me laugh the rest) and I live with my mom and her late-husband. One thing that I enjoy the most is running. Yes, I said it. Running. When I was younger, in grade school, I hated running. Couldn't do it to save my life (no, literally). But just up until last year I needed something to do other than sit on my butt all summer so I got up and started running. The first couple of times sucked but it kept getting better. After about a month, I could run 5K without stopping! Then the snow came (and lots of it) and I went back inside and sat on my butt, but I was missing one thing. Running! I missed it and I really only enjoyed doing it outside but I tried inside and now that's where I am today. I'm back at square one after being sedentary (almost) for four months. I'm trying to get back in my game, back at the top of my game, and better! I've got a 5K run scheduled for June 1 and I plan to do it without stopping. And I've also got a 10K for September and next year I'm gonna try for a half marathon! So here will just be some trials and tribulations of my journey back to the top!
